Favorite movie- superhero me..:)

Many people are attracted to different kind’s movies. There are many movies out there which somehow or rather will get our attention to watch them. Some are merely because of the publicity made before the commencement of the movie or prominent actor and actress will play the lead role in the particular movie. For me, I do not have any specific movie that I love to watch. But, I have a specific type of movies that I would always love to watch compare to other movies.

My favourite type of movie would be superhero types of movies. Movies like batman, spiderman, superman and other “MAN’S “you can ever imagine off will be my favourite movies. I love to imagine things and these types of movies actually allow me to imagine even greater. Most of all, I love the graphical animation used in creating these movies. Imagine superman can fly from anywhere at any time if he wish to do so. That’s one of the coolest thing that I am always curious

I will always wonder how creative can the directors be as they are able to make a simple human being into someone who has extraordinary powers. I really adore the creativity of those directors as they are able to make an imagination a reality. Superhero’s directors like Christopher Nolan, Zack Snyder, Sam Raini and many more has change the world in viewing a normal human being. These people have influenced me as well as I was one of those who got influenced by their masterpiece.

The enthusiasm in me liking superhero movies came from Marvel comic magazines. Marvel comics are my favourite comics and they were the best superhero comic publisher for the past few generations. I used to purchase them at the nearby bookstore. My parents did not stopped me in buying those comics because I told them the reason me buying those comics is to strengthen my “English” vocabulary. *typical Indian family concepts, you buy a book to gain information and not for fun.” So, that was my advantages in getting those comics. Looking at them, I started to develop interest in all these superheroes who I thought they exist in this world. I used to collect poster on the superheroes that I love and paste them around my room.  I still remember there is one particular period where I was so obsess over them and I have to look at them before I sleep.

I was first not that interested in superheroes. This is because I was first exposed to superheroes cartoons and they were unreal to me. They look so unusual and the ability that they had fighting their nemesis was way too exaggerated. I was so disappointed with the cartoon create after all this superheroes. After few years, the directors that I mentioned made my dream a reality. They directed superheroes movies using real man. Can you imagine how awesome was it?  On that moment, I was telling to myself that this is what I want to see, my heroes are made real!! The first movie that I watch was superman. The actor was Dean Cain and he acted well in that particular movie. Looking at him having the ability to fly everywhere make me adore him very much. I like that part where he will go into a telephone booth and come out with his undergarments outside his pants! Although it looks silly to me today, you can never run away with unrealistic things because the superheroes were after all unrealistic. For me, that was not the issue, if the superheroes movies are interesting and full with action scene throughout the movie.

As years pass by, my interest in these entire superheroes movie grows. The reason behind it was the improvement in resolution and graphic animation on the movies that they  released to the public. The latest superheroes movie was “Avengers, The Age of Ultron.  It was a combination of few superheroes with undefinable abilities trying to defend the world from the invasion of Ultron. Ultron are fictional characters and they are the super villains in most of the movies created before these particular movies. The graphics used in the movie was so perfect as if as they were truly having the power in them to save the earth. It was directed perfectly without any loopholes in the movie.  All these factors have always make me think on the reason why superheroes directors are willing to spend millions in order to bring their fictional characters into a reality and the only reason that I can think of is they want to introduce different genre of movie compare to the normal genres that they usually produce.

In a nutshell, Superheroes movies have really created wonders in my life. I wished to witness more of these in the coming years with a variety touch of human super power that we can never imagine about!

embarrassing moment…- its all about the drain :)

Everyone has been embarrassed at one time or another. It is that moment in time when you wish the earth would open up and swallow you. The anxiety and discomfort felt during that time which may only last a few seconds feels like time has stood still.

I would like to share on an embarrassing incident that I will never forget in my life. It happen when I was 9 years old. Again, if you are kid, you level of curiosity is at the absolute level. But, for me, it was beyond that stage. I used to be so curious on what will happen to me if I put my legs onto the hole of the drain covers. I used to have this dare in me saying that the holes between the drain covers are big and nothing will happen to me.  Even though I came close several times in fulfilling my desire, the small amount of fear in me will somehow stop from doing it.

As time pass by, I still have the curiosity of trying it because it looks “unique” to me. One fine day, things went a little nasty. I still remember that we went back to my aunt’s place to attend my cousin sister’s birthday party. Upon reaching to our destination, my mother wanted to get some groceries at the super market as this birthday party was a pot luck kind of birthday party and every family member have to bring something. My mother decided to buy some stuff and prepare it at my aunt’s place as the distance between my place and her place will definitely spoil her preparation if she planned to prepare from my residence. Things was going so fine at the beginning , but, after leaving the supermarket, I saw the same version of drain cover with fancy holes on it. Again, the sense of curiosity evoke in myself, I was waiting for an opportunity to put my legs between the holes.

Can you believe it or not? I placed my legs between the holes. How did I do so?

*A small flashback*

My mother told me that she wanted to grab some potatoes from the local sundry shop  as the price of the potatoes in the supermarket was quite expensive. She asked me to wait outside while she quickly go inside and grab those potatoes. i agreed to stay outside because I have my own hidden agenda,  I was waiting for her to go in. After few minutes,i checked on my mom from the place I was standing. Noticing that she was a little busy in getting her stuff,  I quickly ran to the drain covers and put my leg between the holes. Due to the lack of balance in myself, I had to put both my leg into the drain cover.

Guess what?

At the beginning, i was so happy because I am able to fulfilled my long lost wish. But, as I was trying to pull out my legs from the drain cover, I couldn’t remove them at all! I tried my level best to remove my leg from the drain covers but I was unable to do so. I tried for few times and I decided to shout so that my mother will come out and check on me. My mother came out and she was shocked looking at my condition. I was practically half out and half in the drain. My mother tried to pull me out but she couldn’t do so at all. Everyone started to gather around me. I was so embarrassed looking at all of them. Few of them actually offered themselves to pull me of from this misery. Unfortunately, no one is able to pull me out; I started to cry as I see “failures” in all the efforts that everyone has put in pulling me out from here. After a while, one of them actually told my mother to call the Fire & Rescue Department as they might help me getting out from here.

After 20 minutes or so, the Fire & Rescue department came. After looking at the condition, they told my mom that they have to cut the covers as it is gripping my leg and there is no chance for them to pull me out physically. They took out this huge cutter as the covers are quite thick, on that very moment; I was thinking that I will actually lose my legs. I was that terrified after looking at the particular cutter. The fireman needed only 15 minutes to take me out from there. My legs were injured badly as they were tightly gripped by the covers.  Prior to the release, my mother scolded me because of my silly wrongdoings. Prior to that incident,  I couldn’t have the same amount of fun as others in the birthday party as I was bandaged around my leg and my toe. I was practically sitting down and doing nothing. All this happen because of my overly exaggerated curiosity.  Till this very moment, I will always remember that particular incident whenever I see a drain cover. Looking at that moment, I believe that embarrassing moments will actually teach you a lesson so that you would not repeat it again. For me, it was  definitely a precious lesson to be learnt!

the roller coaster part in life- my schooling days

School was always the best place that I will never forget in my life. By looking at the stacks of the school photos that I have, I can see that I have grown a lot since the days I was at school and after I have ended my school life. For years, school has been a part of almost everything I do and, except perhaps my parents, has shaped my future more than anything else. Not only did school teach me all the subjects that I am supposed to take ,but it also change my outlook in life in ways I now realise aren’t immediately obvious, even to me.

I completed my primary days in a Chinese school. Knowing the fact that Chinese school is full with strict rules and teachers but we still had a lot of fun in school.  My primary school was quite big, there are 4 three storeys building accommodating 10 classes for each standards. But, there is this this incident that I will never forget until the end of my life. There is this specific block near to the canteen and that is where our music room is situated. Whether you believe me or not, the music room is fill with photos of prominent musician around the globe. We used to have our music classes there every week. Kids are always imaginative, but sometimes it can be overly exaggerated, I think you know what I meant. One day, my friend who was sitting beside me told me that the eyes on the portrait of the prominent musician were moving. He told me that there is something unusual in this room. I trusted his words because he was telling me like as if he saw it moving and looking at everyone. After that, we went back to our class and we spoke about this matter among our group of friends. Again, if you have “sensational” news in primary school, everyone will believe you without thinking about it. This was“sensational” news for all of us as the portrait in the music room is alive!! Hahahahah… The funniest part is we actually took effort to think about how we can “save” our music room from that “thing.” Since I was in the Chinese school, everyone agree to chase the “thing” by using Chinese method of chasing a ghost. So, we gathered all this spiritual word written yellow paper*one of my classmate brought them to school without his parent’s knowledge* with a sense of trust that it can chase the “thing” away. *which was not existing* at all.  On that particular day, all of us went to school earlier, so, we all gathered and went up to the music room. One of the teacher actually spotted us going up, we did not realise that she saw us going up to the music room. There is two stairs which is facing each other of the music room. She came up to the music room from the opposite side and caught all of us. We were shouting at her and telling her “we are here to save or music room, there is a ghost in this room!!”  The teacher got so furious with us and took us to the headmaster’s room. We then told the headmaster why did we actually went up to the music room. Thank god he did not beat or call our parents for or misbehaviour, he warned us to never go to the music room without teacher’s supervision anymore. Deep down in our heart, we still felt that there is something in the room because we did not solve the “mystery “of our music room.  That was the best memory that I can still remember till this very moment. It was a the most hilarious moment happen to me in my primary days because I am able to still remember that incident.

my primary school :)
my primary school 🙂

Going up to secondary school, I had more “matured” experiences compare to my primary days. I used to be very shy and introvert. I do not mix around because I always think that I couldn’t mix around with everyone. But, I would like to share about this teacher and she was the one who coloured my secondary life. She was Pn Mahalecthumi and she was the discipline teacher back when I was in school. One fine day, she spotted me being bullied by few senior students. After solving the situation, she then brought me to her room and she told me “thilip, I going to make u the school perfect, I believe that you can do so!” Out of no way, I was the school prefect and she was the one consistently advising me how should I react and behave.” she taught me the word “strong” which I carried throughout my school life. With that, I started to show my “horns” in school. I remember chasing students on the road because they tried to run out from the back gate of the school. I still remember the days that I used to shout in the assembly hall to make sure everyone is quiet before the commencement of the assembly. Until one point of time, I was one of the most feared individual in my school. After my SPM, I continued my form six in the same school. Because of my so called “the most feared and popular personnel in school. I was automatically elected to hold several important positions in the prefectorial board and other co-curricular organisations .. I soon realised that if “she” was not there at that time, I would not be a person that I am now.

In a nutshell, I believe that schools are always the best moments in my life. So, if I had the opportunity to go back to my past, I would definitely choose to go back to my school and  enjoy those days  again because it was that good people!!

inspiring person – my lady superhero :)

Most of them will obviously have a person who inspired them a lot. It can be celebrities, politicians or anyone prominent who has contributed to the society. They use to adore them and imitate their living styles and many other aspects that relate to that person that they adore. In my case, I do not have any particular person to be inspired because my mother is the most significant and inspiring figure in my whole life.

Before I proceed on how influential she is to me, let me introduce a bit about her to all of you. Her name is Ganthi Mathi. Apparently, she was given the name after India’s iron lady, Indira Gandhi.  For your information, she was the fourth prime minister and the first lady prime minister of the country. Whether you believe it or not, the name is so suitable for her because she is as strong as that figure that I mentioned previously. She was the only girl in the family with two brothers above her. Therefore, my late grandfather treats her like a boy since she was a little girl. My mum used to tell me that she will get the same clothes as her two brothers. She used to have short hair during her younger days. *to be frank, she still practices that style till this very moment.*   She is 54 years old.  She got married to my dad when she was 28 years old which I think a little “late” if you compared with other lady who got married during her time.

Now back to the stories on how she inspired me …

Those days, my relatives and other members of the family ditched us from all of them. The only reason behind that factor was because we do not have money or property like others. My mother use to tell us that “we will pull though it with a smile.” Since that day, my mother never fails to smile at us so that we do not lose hope in facing all the possibilities in our journey.  During my young age, She used to walk me to school because we cannot afford in getting any vehicle. Throughout the journey, she will always tell me to study hard because she do not want me to suffer like how they are suffering in going through all these obstacles.  She used to even carry me to school because she wants me to look good like others in school. She never even let anyone to pin point of our lack because she manage everything perfectly.

She was also my father’s backbone. My father was sick since I was 2 years old. She used to work day and night so that she is able to manage the family without my dad’s contribution. She never complaint because she knows that she is responsible to raise us in any circumstances. I never see her complaining about how difficult to be working the entire day. Whenever she comes back, she will always put a smile on her face and will prepare us dinner.  My mother is a very strict person. *for your information, she is a school teacher* I have gotten numerous whacking from her. The reason behind her whacking me is she wants me to understand that if you committed any wrong doings, you are so dead. Tat is the reason why I am so afraid of her till this very moment.  Her favourite statement will be “I am your mother, if you mistakenly place a step without my knowledge, I will get to know.” Whether you believe me or no, the statement will always run in my brains if I wanted to do something, she is that influential in my life. Basically, I grow up listen to her words as I believe mother’s word or decision is always the best. My mother is a flexible person, she allows us to take our own decision but she never ever put her husband side lined, she will always say “you have decided, but, please consult your dad before your proceed. This is because she believes the throne of the family is still my dad even though she was the one managing the internal affairs of the family.

I still remember the days when my father passed away; she showed me the same smile and told me the same thing. “We will put through it with a smile.” I was the youngest in the family and my mother knows that I need her attention more than both my brothers as they are already big enough to lead their own life. I still remember that I was doing my final year project and I was as stressful as that is the time my father left us. She used to spend time talking to me and advising  me how important this is to me and also for the family as both my brother did not further their studies after form 5 because  they did not performed as expected  in their respective SPM. Her words of wisdom have seriously helped me in finishing my studies and I will always dedicate my success to her as she was the only one “surviving” my path.

My mother is truly the person that I inspired the most, I walk her thoughts and smile the way she did to others. She is truly is strong person who can endure every single obstacles and challenges without grumbling or throwing tantrum at others. In a nutshell, she is not just my mother, she is my super woman!!

P/s: 11th April was her birthday, so let’s wish her a happy belated birthday!!!

When I Grow Up…

I can imagine IF you become one nad .. awesome story 🙂

Knowing Nadhirah

Hello dear readers!

This week’s theme is about our childhood ambition, and I honestly feel that I should mention that 50% of the time, I am still a child even in my adult life. When people ask you what you want to be when you grow up, I think most Malaysian children say they want to be a doctor or an engineer or a policeman/woman. Well, this is what my friends told me anyway. Hence, I had to keep my real answer a secret, so as to avoid being made fun of. I dreamt of my childhood ambition almost every night. (And sometimes, I still have dreams of it now. Hehe)

Since I was a child, I was one of those very girly girls. I love pink, I love wearing dresses, I love frilly and flowery things. So, my parents showered me with all of these pretty little things because…

childhood memories – “now you see me , now you don’t!!!” :)

Being a child, we do not have any restrictions in dreaming on what we wished. A child will always get an opportunity to fantasize his or her own dreams. Due to those circumstances, a child will always think something which is extraordinary or something that is not existed in this world. Most of them are like that because on what they are exposed to; cartoon especially plays a big role in a child’s life. With the introduction of new and “weird” characters in all these cartoons, a child will eventually put themselves in the character that they adore.

In my situation, my childhood ambition is to become an ‘invisible man’. Can you imagine if I able to be invisible to everyone that I know? Although being invisible is not a reality, but being one can actually allow me to experience so many things that I would never get a chance to experience if was a normal human being. Being invisible actually allows me to fulfill my long time desires that I can never imagine.

Being a child, my level of curiosity could reach to the level that I cannot imagine.  The first thing that I want to experience after becoming “the invisible man “is to look at how babies are formed. I always have the eagerness to know how human are formed. I will always ask my parents how I was formed, they used to tell me that I was given by god, so therefore we are all gift from the heaven.  That particular statement does not convince me at all because they couldn’t prove what they are telling to me. So, if I am invisible, I will go into a mummy’s tummy, and look at how a baby was formed and look at how one is created so that my curiosity is solved. hahahahah….  Although it might sound a little obscene, but looking at how a fetus is formed can actually give me an opportunity to appreciate our priceless life.  That is the reason why I am so eager to look how “we” are formed and brought to this beautiful world.

I will also have an opportunity to travel around the world without any documents or money in me. Imagine if I am able to surpass various immigrations within split seconds without having anyone scutinising on me. I would also be able to travel on a business class flight without paying thousand of ringgit as I am not no visible to anyone.  This is all because of the influence on what I watch on the TV and also what I hear from my other kinder garden mates during my childhood days. Most of my kinder garden mates are rich and the reason behind why I am in that “rich” kinder garden is because my mother is working there. So, I will always get so jealous with what they have. Therefore, the only way for me to experience it is to become invisible. That’s the only thing that I can think about when I was a kid.

Besides that, another reason behind my ambition in becoming an invisible is I want to have to opportunity to enjoy all the scrumptious meal that the world can offer. I would agree that I was born with big appetite and I love food like nobody’s business. I can practically “WALLOP” every single hour because food is always my irresistible passion. So, the only way for me to eat everything for “free “ is being invisible to everyone. You can never imagine how good it will be if I am able to do so without giving any “problem” to everyone who is around me. If this becomes a reality, I will make sure that I enjoy everything !!

Last but not least, I want to become invisible and grab as many toys I want from every single supermarket that I wish to enter. Being a kid, there is no way you are going to say no to toys, same goes to me , toys are like my closest companion and I will always get 2nd hand or 3rd hand toys which are inherited from my brothers. I think you can imagine how the toy looks like when it “successfully” reaches me. I used to get “handicapped” power rangers, headless wolverine and other toys with different types of “disabilities”. My parents will always ask me “appreciate” those toys because  they told me that I should be lucky as many kids in this world do not get anything to play. *a typical parental statement*.knowing the fact that I would not get the toys I wanted, I always wanted to be invisible and grab all the toys I want without paying a single cent.

As a conclusion, although my wish behind me becoming an invisible is something against the mother nature and also the rules and regulations of the country, but, that’s is what a child like me will think and dream as they always will always have this feelings that their life is incomplete and will think something “extraordinary” so that they are able to “so called” fulfilled their thoughts and desire. Nothing can stop a child from thinking weirdly because we are special in our ways!!!

my scariest moment – “an outdoor Jacuzzi”

Everyone is obviously born with fear. No one can leave without encountering any incident that can cause them to have lifelong impact on that particular issue that they have face. I have one incident which I am not unsure whether to classified it’s as an unbalance emotional or a terrifying moment that happen in my life. This particular story can know as an “international acquired story” as this happens abroad. Coming from a half India nationality family, it is a must for me to go back to India every year.  On the year 2013, I experience something which is creepy and mysterious. I went back to India with my mother, elder brother and my uncle.  I still remember that it was a long trip because I have successfully finished my final year of my degree.  My village in India is situated in a small district called Sivangangai, it is at the southern part of the whole entire nation. It is a very deserted and quiet place, even though it was a peaceful place with no sound pollution or what so ever pollution that you can imagine, but, it is still an awkward situation for me as I was born in the urban area. It is full with trees and plants around the area. We had good time for the first 7 days. We went for trip and visited few temples around the district. I even went and visited my late father’s land as he owns a small piece of land which was given by my late great grandfather.   I also had awesome time enjoying dishes prepared by my aunt. I was practically having good time when my family members were around me. After the 7th day, my family members had to go back to Malaysia, but, I stayed back with my uncle as he requested me to accompany him for another 2 weeks because he will be bored as everyone is leaving the place.

*Before I proceed, left me explain about my uncle’s status. He is born in Malaysia here but he got married my aunt who is from India, that is why he staying back in India for another two weeks because he doesn’t go back to India frequently. *

Back to my story….

So, I extended my ticket and stay put with my uncle for the rest of the days. Things started to react strangely after my family left the place. People in India do not build restroom within their home. Thus, we have to actually go to the back of the house as there will be an “outdoor Jacuzzi” that we can bath and do all the necessary things that we would like to do. It is an outdoor place and there in nothing covering the place. There is nothing besides those wild trees and other plants covering the” outdoor Jacuzzi”. I enjoyed bathing there as you are able to relax on it and it actually gives you peace of mind after one whole day of activities. I used to spend 2 hours soaking myself and enjoy the scenery of my entire village. After numerous days having “fun” at the “outdoor Jacuzzi”, something started to react weirdly, during the early stages, I started to have severe stomach ache and I can feel something is not right with my body. I start to shiver and my eating diet had completely changed due to my stomach ache. Thinking it was stomach ache because of the spicy food serve by my aunt, I took my medicine that I brought from my here. I felt better after taking those medications and I just had fun with the remaining days that I had. Again, things reacted strangely. It was the night that I am suppose to travel to the city as my flight to Malaysia will be in two days time,  the reason behind our plans  to go  to the city because we would like to grab some stuff  before we go back.  On that particular night ,  I feel so suffocated, and bad sign started to become a worst sign as the chair that I sat on broken into pieces without any reason. Although it was weird, on that particular moment, my mind was  thinking that something is wrong with my health due to the difference in environment rather than any other issue that can possibly happen to me. We took the bus to the city of Chennai and during my trip to Chennai, I suffered, I couldn’t sleep, all I was doing was turning around and struggling in the bus. This situation was worst because the condition of the bus was so dirty and the chairs are partially broken. Finally, I somehow arrive to the city of Chennai. Whether you believe me or not, I seriously had tough time fighting for my life for the last three of my stay in India, the suffocating feelings came again and I went to the nearest hospital to check whether there is anything wrong with my health. The doctor told me I am fine and he gave me medication for my cough and he asks me to take some rest. I still can feel that I am not right and something is not right with my condition. I went to the situation whereby I felt like dying because of the feeling that I was coping with from the last few days of my trip. My mother was so worried with my condition as she was calling my uncle so many times to check on my condition.  After two days of misery in India, I finally came back to Malaysia safely. Knowing the fact that I was not well, my mother took me to the clinic to check on my condition because I was still complaining that I am still not well. Prior meeting the doctor in the clinic, the doctor actually told us that I am completely fine and there is nothing wrong with my health in any circumstances. He told my mum that I might need a counselor because I might have some problem with my self-esteem. He also suggested few counselors who are able to help me pull through this issue. I was so furious with the doctor’s decision in asking me to meet counselor to solve my problem. I told my mother that I am not mentally disturbed and I can feel that something is not right with me. Days passed by and my condition is still the same, there is no progression in me.  My mom decided to take me to a temple because she feels that something is not right as I was also shrinking from the original size without any reason as I was eating without any problem.  She took me to the temple and meets the priest in  the temple, after looking at my eyes several times, the priest claimed that a spirit is in me and it is a “she”.  I was like what???Something is inside me? Can you believe it? I asked the priest again whether he is sure with what he is saying as people do not believe with spirit in this generation. He reassured me and said there is a spirit followed me and the reason behind me going thinner is because she is also sharing my food indirectly. You couldn’t imagine how I would felt on that particular moment.  The goose bumps on me were out of control as I was shivering throughout the conversation with the priest. He told us that he have to performed certain ritual immediately to remove “her”.  The priest then performed the rituals that he supposed to do on me and prior to the ending of the ritual, I felt something was leaving my body, I can feel something was coming out from me, I think most probably is the “she” who is coming out from my body, throughout the rituals,  I was telling to “her” than I am innocent and please leave me alone as I did not do anything towards “her”. With the help of the ritual and the inner voice of myself, I was saved from the spirit. I felt even lighter and weaker after the ritual. He told me to keep on praying hard as god is always the person who is able to remove all evil and dirt from a human’s body.  After few days, I recovered and I actually discovered that the reason behind my extra relaxation on the “outdoor Jacuzzi” was because of the spirit! Hahhahah!! Knowing the fact that the “outdoor jacuzzi” was the reason behind this entire incident, I vowed to myself that I will never ever go to there anymore.  What a great experience!

Pictorial diary – an awesome day with the world cup :)

Being a football freak, the world cup is obviously my favourite showdown that I always want to watch.  But, watching it face to face will be an impossible agenda for me as the world cup will be hosted in countries that have good history in the competitions.  Knowing the fact that the world cup finals will not be organised in Malaysia, a prominent beverage company, Coca- Cola and the international governing body of football association, FIFA brought my dream a reality. This is because both the collaborators planned to bring the original world cup trophy for a tour!! Can you believe it!! They are bringing the trophy around 89 countries throughout the world!! Knowing the fact that this opportunity was one in a million, I still made the effort in participating in the contest which enables me to witness the world cup by myself.

my proof of buying those coca-cala bottles!! :)
my proof of buying those coca-cala bottles!! 🙂

The first thing that I am supposed to do is to purchase 6 bottles of coca –cola which is part of the marketing strategic for the beverage company. After that, I have to fill up my details and particulars in the provided website so that they are able to verified me if I am lucky to witness the world cup by myself. The main catch of the trophy tour is I am not only will able to witness the real cup, a photograph  with me beside the whooping 9 kg gold plated cup will be given to me. After hearing the awesome deals about the tour, my desire towards the witnessing the cup by me has rose till the extent that I would not let any reasons to stop me from going there.

After waiting piteously for a week, I finally got my reply from coca- cola. They told me that I was selected to witness the tour and they also attached the entry ticket so that I am able to enjoy the tour without any hesitation. It’s it cool? I was practically flying on the sky after receiving the reply for my request. To be exact, I was the first few who received the entry ticket for the tour as I was among 100 fastest participants registered for the tour. Can you see how enthusiast I was towards the trophy tour? It is a sign of a diehard fan which will never give up in achieving their interest!!!

5 January 2014 was the day I was waiting for, the trophy is finally arrived in our country. I received the news one day before the trophy tour. Looking at the plane bringing the trophy gave me many assumptions on how the environment of the tour will be. It created an inner excitement in me which brought me to another dimension in my life.

The trophy tour ‘Malaysia’ version was organized in Putra World Trade Center (PWTC) which is situated at the centre of the city. I took my mother along because we planned to take the train as the PWTC is walking distance from the Putra Station. We went there as early as 8 am in the morning. Prior arriving to our destination, I can already sense the crowd outside of the entrance. It was mind-blowing looking at the environment around the trophy tour.

Before entering, I actually asked the person In charge whether my mother can tag along with me as I thought one ticket was sufficient for us to enter. The person in charge gave me a negative answer; he told me that my mother will have an opportunity to enter if she is able to fulfill their procedures. The procedure is just like mine, so we went to the nearest shop to get the 6 coca cola bottles. Looking at the crowd, I felt like dozing off, the crowd was as long as the anaconda in the Amazon!! Knowing the fact that I might lose the opportunity I witness my favourite trophy, I still waited with my mum as a sign of sharing my happiness and appreciation towards her willingness coming along with me to this trophy tour. After waiting for 4 hours, we finally completed the registration and we went in a special made tunnel to see the trophy in person.

historical world cup footballs :)

The tour was truly a wholesome tour as we were shown much history on the types of balls used from the first world cup until the very recent one. Besides that, coca- cola also showcased their different packaging of coca – cola in various countries around the world; it was interesting because there were few unique designs that really captured my attention.

I also had the opportunity to take a photo with the samba girls as the world cup is going to hold in Brazil. Trust me; the samba girls are super beautiful and tall!! Maybe because of their heels I guess. *trying to console myself*. After surpassing few “stages” I finally get an opportunity to witness my world cup. I had to endure a dark tunnel probably because of the safety procedures practiced by our nation to protect from unwanted incidents to occur. Everyone was given 10 seconds to look at the cup but I was given approximately 25 seconds because the family before me was checking whether their photos were taken properly or not. That gave me extra second in looking at the “awesome creation of human being”.

Once done with the tour, I went and collected my picture and I was happy because I stood proudly beside the world cup. Since then, the picture of me beside the world cup was my wallpaper on my laptop. Although it was tiring, it is an unbelievable experience for me which I will never forget in my life. As a conclusion, Life is too short to be picky, so go all out for your desires!

last be not least, a picture with the world cup :)
last but not least, a proud me with the world cup 🙂

favourite memories- part of happiness :)

Throughout 25 years of my life, which can’t be said too long or too short, I had numbers of memories. There are some enjoyable, happy and also stressful memories in my life. Every memory is so special to me that I can’t change any of them. Sometimes they taught me some lesson and also made me regret about my behavior. In this blog, I am going to tell you about my best experience that I have ever had.

To start with, I have a terrified yet enjoyable moment to tell all of you. My experience going on a plane was a memory that I will never forget.  I always love airplanes; my interest in airplanes came about when I was 3 years old. I used to cut out images of airplanes from the newspapers, magazines and other reading materials. I used to have collection of books on airplanes because I was an enthusiast over the flying machine that can go wonder. I still remember the days that I used to pester my parents to take me on the plane. My parents refuse to take me because apparently I was too young to go on a plane and they told me that I would be scaring boarding on the plane. * parents assumptions, what you expect*.  I was so disappointed with my parents on my request because I really wanted to experience boarding a commercial airplane. But, dreams didn’t just remain as a dream. My dream came true when I was 10 years old. My parents finally agree to take me on a plane for the first time. I was so excited until I started packing my things since the day my parents told me about the trip. To be precise, the flight that I boarded was a domestic flight. It was only a 45 minutes flight for Subang Jaya Terminal Airport to Bayan Lepas International Airport, Penang. The flight that my father booked was a regional airline based in Subang Jaya Terminal Airport. The airplane is known as the Pelangi Air. Although it was a small plane with a capacity of 50 people, I was still happy because I am able to make my dream a reality. Those days, my parents do not posses any vehicle and there were not proper system or route to the airport like today.  Therefore, we had endured the road by bus to the airport.  I was fascinated with the architecture design of the airport. I was practically looking at the air track and the airplanes parked at the airport.  We first went to the counter to cross check our booking so that we will be given our boarding pass to board the flight. My father was the one who was explaining everything  that we  had to go through without getting furious over my annoyance. After waiting for 30 minutes, it’s time for us to board the flight. When I was standing at the terminal waiting for boarding, I didn’t have any clue about how an aircraft performed, I still thought at the time it would simply lift up with no airspeed needed, after getting our seats in the plane, I was kind of regretting because the interior of the plane was like a surgical room, it was so white and pale. When we took off, butterflies in my stomach started to be felt and a whole set of enthusiasm started boiling on me! I was so scared because I am able to feel the plane floating over the sky. After 15 minutes of the flight, I start to get used to it and I was enjoying the ride on the plane to my destination. Although it was a nerve wreaking experience for me, but,  it remains to be my all-time favorite memory that I will never forget.

The next memory that I would like to share is a memories that I will never regret doing it. It was a trip with my dad to India. It was not a normal trip as it was the first and the final trip that I travelled with dad. We had planned this trip a year ago and the reason behind our trip was basically fulfilling our vow and promises to our god. To be exact, it was a religious cum visiting trip. We went there for 7 days and we were having awesome time together. I still remember the only thing that I requested from my dad was a yellow Nike shoes and I am still having it with me till today. We successfully fulfilled our vow even though we have to endure many obstacles throughout our journey to the temple that we wanted to seek for blessings. The reason why I couldn’t forget the trip was my father passed away after a day coming back from the trip. We did not have the opportunity to share our experience to our family members. Within 24 hours, he had a seizure and passed away. Even though it was bad ending for the trip, I will never forget the time we had spent together. So, in my opinion, memories can be bittersweet, but, if we classify it as memories, it must be something memorable yet exciting. I believe that I will experience more memories in the coming years. Therefore, all I need to do is smile and enjoy my days.

my dream holiday aka vacation!!

oldtrafford
my dream stadium 🙂

A holiday, something that everyone will get hyped up over, this is the time we will plan activities for family members to spend quality time. Most of all, school teachers will be jumping for joy because this is the time for them to relax after hectic months dealing with students. If holidays are coming about, we will obviously think of waking up late, celebrating, going around and doing nothing and best of all, vacations! A vacation based holiday is the best holiday ever! Talking about dream holidays, I always love to do something which is way different than others. A dream holiday destination can be moderate, but the activities plans throughout should be exciting yet memorable. That is my personal perception on my dream holidays.

My dream holidays that I would like to go is Manchester. Manchester is situated in London and the main attraction in Manchester that attracted me is Old Trafford. My all time dream is to visit Old Trafford and to watch my favourite football team on action.  It may sound simple to all of you, but it is the most insane thing that I would love to experience as a die-hard fan of my dream team. The capacity of the stadium can reached up to 100,000 spectators and sitting between them could be my absolute dream come true. To make my dream holidays even crazier, I wish to witness the derby match between Manchester United against their arch rival, Manchester City. This clash will surely fill up the entire stadium with fans from both the clubs because this is the biggest neighboring clash between the two clubs in English football.  Every time they telecast in the television, I will practically adore the environment and the surrounding of the stadium and imagining myself sitting in the stadium with all of them. That would be my number dream holiday.  Besides fulfilling my dream going to my dream stadium, I would love to try various kinds of hamburgers in London. Being a food lover, I will never come back to Malaysia before I filled myself with awesome and satisfying meal from the country that I am travelling.  The urge in trying all kinds of hamburgers came about from a TV channel called THE ASIAN FOOD CHANNEL! I was impressed and “influence “by the way English people prepare diverse version of mouth-watering hamburgers for their customers.  I am actually interested in trying their street hamburgers sold in their own caravan rather than the common restaurant version of hamburgers. It will be an awesome experience having your hamburger beside the street just like how we have our very own Ramly burger in Malaysia. So, if I arrived in Manchester, I will walk around and finding for my desires.

The next dream holiday destination that I would travel is Tokyo, Japan. The reason behind my dream visiting the land of rising sun is their super-fast bullet train or best known as “Shinkasen”.  Japan is known for their high speed railway network and it is my dream to go on them. According to my readings, the bullet rain travels more than 2,000 kilometers which covers half of the country. It would be a “money can’t buy” experience for me as a speed enthusiast.  Travelling on that invention will actually ease my curiosity on how fast it can travel on a railway track. Besides going on their bullet train, I really wished that I can travel to Hokkaido. Hokkaido is Japan’s second largest island and apparently the island is famous in producing fresh fish for the people there. The most interesting activity is the ice fishing which I am craving to try. We will be given a chance to fish small fishes which are known smelts on the frozen lake. Besides that, Hokkaido also caters all kinds of fishing such as deep-sea fishing, river fishing, and lure and fly fishing on lakes and ponds.  All the activity gives you a chance to feel and experience and I will surely travel to that place.

the insane machine!!!
the insane machine!!!

Looking at my dream holidays, it is clearly proved that I actually searching for my holiday spot after scrutinizing on the itinerary that particular country offer to their visitors. It also shows that I am an activity seeker traveler  which means I would like to have a memorable holiday and not a sightseeing based holidays.  Therefore, with god’s grace, I hope that I am able to travel to my favourite holiday places and go crazy!
